Amboise, France

The Dutch have an old saying “Oh, to live like a God in France”. This area of France is spectacular. I am pretty sure the only reason the almighty has not taken up residence in the Loire River Valley is all the French people living there. I joke, but it did take most of this trip to get used to dealing with the French.

We home based in Ambois and toured to multiple Chateaus in the area. Our favorites were Chenonceau, Cheverny, and Chambord.
